Sahara Pines Animal Hospital operates primarily by appointment to allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures. Emergency cases always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please know that we make a sincere attempt to see each client and patient on time.

Drop-Off Appointments

For your convenience, we also make “drop-off” appointments available. A drop-off appointment allows you to bring your pet to our hospital at the time that works best for you, and drop them off with us for a couple of hours so we can administer whatever treatment(s) they need. We typically ask pet owners to drop off their pet sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the pet in between appointments or at a time that is purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once your pet’s treatment is complete, the doctor will call you to discuss the treatment and any diagnosis that was made during the appointment and provide you with discharge instructions if necessary.

Patient Safety

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. While we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during their visits, it is also natural for pets to feel a little uneasy at being around new people, new surroundings, and other pets. This is why we ask that you please restrain your pet by keeping them on a leash or in a carrier while they are in the lobby. We appreciate your cooperation!
